Brad Rimell, HOST Vice Chair called the meeting to order. There were 25 HOST Members present.

 

  1. LT John Miller gave a presentation on hurricane preparedness and an update on the USCG Heavy Weather SOP.

 

 

  1. The Coast Guard gave an update on the search and rescue mission for missing kayakers off Kauai.

 

 

  1. Jeffrey Waters gave an update on the 2007-2008 whale season highlights.
